Winter SaniDay 2015 in Moscow

Sledging from the snowy mountains is a traditional Russian winter entertainment which started centuries ago and even in the century of hi-tech it remains as popular as it used to be. SaniDay (sledge day) is a winter fest which unites fans of unusual engineering art, speed and fun.

Who said that the sledge must be as it used to be a hundred of years ago? Can it be improved? Of course it can! The art of the amateur sledge developers and funny competitions on the sledges of unique designs bring lot of pleasure for several years already. If you would like to take part in this year competition you still have time to register and prepare (till Junuary 31^st).

According to the rules the sledge must be made without metal elements on its frame and must be for 2 persons minimum (and no limits for maximum).  Before the start each team presents a short music show (about 2 minutes). The awards are given for creativity, highest speed, funniest come down and the people’s choice.
