Universal “New Year Fair” is a big event in the
capital of Tatarstan life. More than 180 enterprises from Moscow, Kazan,
Belgorod, Vladimir, Voronezh, Velikii Novgorod, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, Ryazan,
Chelyabinsk and many other Russian cities took part in the fair last year. It
is a very popular event among citizens and guests of Tatarstan. 14160 people visited the fair last year.
The fair will take place in the exhibition center “Kazanskaya
yarmarka (Kazan Fair)”. This organization is a member of Russian Union of Exhibitions
and Fairs and International Association of Exhibitions and Events.
Each Fair in Russia is a big feast where you can enjoy traditional folk music, taste food and buy many useful and pleasant things on good price!
Lots of traditional souvenirs are present at fairs. Here you can find for example matryoshka - traditional Russian doll.
And traditional Russian shoes "valenki" - very warm and they are the best choice in cold Russian winter!
