March, 20th will be the Sun eclipse. In the western part of Russia it will be partially seen. Full eclipse will be seen on the north of the Atlantic ocean and in the Arctic Region.
However, moscovites will have possibility to enjoy this rare phenomenon in its all beauty. Austronomous place "Sky park" and the Big observatory of the Moscow planetarium will show the Sun eclipse as seen from the different parts of the Earth. It will be shown on the screens.
In the evening planetarium visitors will be able to see the sun eclipse on the dome.
Besides that moscovites will be able to see space phenomenon on the viewing points of the city where high power binoculars are placed. From the observer point of view the Moon disk will shut about 60% of the Sun.
The best place to see the Sun eclipse in Russia is Murmansk.
Last time partial Sun eclipse was seen 04 January 2011.
