The 70th anniversary of the Viktory Day in the World War II

Today the world is celebating the 70th anniversary of the Viktory Day in the World War II. In Russia it is a very special day.

The main parade of the country was in Moscow of course. The scale is impressive! This year there was an outstanding event called "the immortal regiment" devoted to all those people who gave their lives for the country. A famous saying about WWII here is that there is no family who has no its hero.
Today many families had a chance to bring the portraits of their heros to the parade on the Red Square thus tributing to their memory. Vladimir Putin was in the head of this parade with the portrait of his father.

They say only in Moscow more than 300K people took part in the event. Such tributes were held all through Russia, more than 1 mln people took place in the memory tribute.

We do remember! And we wish all the people in the world to live without any wars!
